Our employees recently received a pay rate increase. Is there an easy way of changing the hourly rate of pay (as well as the overtime rate) associated with all 65 employees? Not looking forward to having to manually change 2 rates for all employees... And have to do it all again next year when thier wages go up again ...

Hi Jim,
Thanks for reaching out in the Community. I'll be glad to answer any questions you've got.
At this time, there isn't an option to bulk edit all the employee's pay rates at once. You'd have to manually edit the rates one at a time. I know how useful it would be to be able to bulk edit the rates and I encourage you to send this feedback to our engineers. You can do this by clicking the Gear icon and looking for Feedback. New product ideas and improvements are based on the great feedback we get from users like you.
In the meantime, feel free to ask questions. I'm here to help and steer you in the right direction.

Has this feature been implemented? It would be super useful.
Hello MB16300,
I can definitely see how having this sort of feature to change many employee rates at once would be useful, in particular if you have a larger number of employees like the person who originally posted the question.
Our team is constantly working to enhance what the program has to offer with QuickBooks Online Payroll, and recently we've seen new features like worker's compensation tracking, vacation policy updates, and more. At this time, there still isn't an option to change many employee rates at once, but I still encourage you to submit feedback. The more voices there are asking for a feature, the better our product development team can gauge its usefulness to users. My colleague shared the way to submit feedback above, or you can check out this article: How do I submit feedback?
Wishing you the best!
I also would like to be able to enter different hourly pay rates with an amount so I can do bulk adjustments rather than manually enter each person's pay rate. I do use an add on software from Sunburst Software called Certified Payroll Solution that allows me to do this and it works well and you just import to QB. I would prefer though to be able to do it right in Quickbooks. Hopefully they are truly working on this.
why did you mark it solved?????????????????
you have not solved anything
and now with all of the political BS, we have to increase min wage gradually over time
this is literally a waste of time and money,
how can we do all employees at once?
Hi there. Thanks for chiming in on this thread. I can the benefit of being able to edit the info on all your employees, however, this feature isn't available. I encourage you to send feedback about this to our engineers by clicking the Gear icon > Feedback. In the meantime, you're more than welcome to ask questions, I'll be on standby in case you need anything.
