It's good you're looking into adding the Pay-Now button on your invoice. Don't worry, I'll guide you through this.
I can show you how to sign up within your QuickBooks Online account. Here's how:
Click on the Gear icon.
Choose Account and Settings.
In the Payments section, click on Learn more.
Complete the company information.
You'll then be routed to this QuickBooks Payments page. From there, click on Add QuickBooks Payment.
The application will take about 24-28 hours, and you will be notified via email once it's approved. From there, you can start sending invoices with the Pay Now button.
Let us know how I can help you further by posting more questions. Have a great day!

You can click the "Set up payment" green button to login to your QBO account and apply for the QB Payment account.
If you need to explore a 3rd party merchant service to integrate with QBO, send me a private message and I will introduce you to them.
