Dash in email address

I have a customer that has a dash (-) in their email address but QB says it’s “invalid” but it is not. How can I send them an invoice through QB?

Dash in email address

This has nothing to do with private or incognito settings but thanks for trying... The email addresses given by the customer is correct and It works when emailing but QB does not recognize it as a valid email because of the dash I assume (-)?  I want QB to allow me to email to the address and do not want to have to get them to provide a different address.

invoices‐[email address removed] is the correct and valid email but it is not recognized by QB.
