Memorized Transaction List

I updated to QB 2022 Accountant Desktop today. I am unable to re-position Memorized Transactions in the Memorized Transaction List. This is new - it was functioning correctly in QB Accountant Desktop 2021.

Memorized Transaction List

Hi, @impossible.

You should be able to move the transactions or lists from the Memorized Transaction List window by dragging the asterisk up or down beside the Transaction Name column. If you're having a hard time performing the process in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) Accountant 2022, you can perform the Verify and Rebuild tool to isolate the issue.

To verify the data:

  1. Choose Window then Close All.
  2. Verify Data. Choose File then Utilities. Select Verify Data. If you see:
    • "QuickBooks detected no problems with your data," no further action is needed.
    • A specific error message, there may already be an article for it. Try searching for it in our QuickBooks Desktop support site for specific instructions.
    • "Your data has lost integrity," indicates there is data damage in the file. Continue to the steps below to Rebuild Data to correct the problem.

If you're getting the same result, you can run the repair tool to fix the common errors while working with QBDT.

Once done, you're now ready to manage your memorized transactions as before.

Please feel free to get back to me here for any additional questions with your memorized entries. I always have your back. Thanks for dropping in, and cheers for more success!

Memorized Transaction List

No, that doesn't solve the issue. It happens in 3 separate data files, on 3 different computers. It worked perfectly in all three data files in QB 2021 and earlier.  I suspect the issue may be a result of the 'upgrade' from 32bit encryption to the new 64 bit encryption. Please take another look. It's incredibly inconvenient to lose this function.
