This year we have had problems with efiling the T1135, access code error, with ProFile putting one client's name in another client's document properties, and not accepting the activation code for a single use licence (of course for a TP1).
It's especially frustrating that I paid for a one time pay, got the activation code, tried to enter it and it was rejected. Finally get a hold of a tech support, they said to try again because the first time the credit card company refused the charge. The second activation didn't work either (and this is for the same business card that was used to buy the 2022 tax suite). Tech support says try another credit card and when I do (using a personal card), that doesn't work either. Tech says they'll get back to me in a few minutes. I call the credit card company for the business card, they said both charges were accepted. Can't check the personal card because the Tech can see everything on my computer with their access program. Tell the tech that the charges were accepted so what gives. Tech says they'll get back to me maybe in the next hour or so and give me a solution. I said this isn't acceptable, give me an activation code so I can finish the return and not keep my client waiting. Tech can't do it and gee, all the managers are unavailable. It's now three hours later and I haven't heard a peep from Tech support. Time to change software companies. ProFile isn't what it used to be. Anyone else have these issues???
So I finally heard back from Intuit Profile and while I now have an activated one pay licence, it involved using a incorrect Canadian address as the billing system does not accept my US address. Looks like I'll be checking out other tax software because this is an unacceptable solution for me and other US based tax preparers.
Yes this is correct, the system does not allow customers to purchase with an address outside of Canada. We apologize for the inconvenience.
totally not good keep getting error messages and won't save info when you try to close. Spent an hour with tech support only to loose what i did and was told to go back in under admin. Same problems GRRR now docusign isn't working
