Hi..Our bankers have just made mandatory alternations to the cheque formatting. How can I get Quickbooks to print using a new template?

Hi there KAO2411,

It's vital you be able to pay your suppliers for the services they've provided to your company. QuickBooks Enterprise is a great software abe to help you create and print cheques for your suppliers as well as employees so that you can provide them the money they're owed. I can provide some information about printing cheques.

In order to modify which information appears on the cheques, you can navigate to the Edit menu in the top bar, then Preferences. Click on the Chequing section, and then you'll see the company preferences you can toggle when printing cheques. The placement of certain information on the cheque itself can't be changed, as it's meant to be used with cheques that are compatible with QuickBooks Desktop. In order to order cheques that are compatible with QuickBooks Desktop, you can click on the Banking menu in the top bar, then Order cheques and envelopes.

If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out here.

Hi Alex

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, I need to make some mandatory changes to the placement of the date and amount fields.

Can you advise me on what are my options at this point please.

For instance, is there a cheque printing software I can use that would integrate with Quickbooks.

Time is of the essence as the deadline for implementation is 31 March 2022.

Hi, we have same problem. specifically, we need to show the date in the cheque like this:

Any recommended app or work-around?

 Hi

I was able to use the attached formatting on my cheques. It's not possible for QB to print the date in the blocks so I approached the bank and was able to get another formatting approved.
