Note that I have two factor authentication turned off.
Since sometime yesterday, I'm having to get a code texted to my phone every single time I login during the day.
Since I am not working in QB continuously all day long, I wind up having to log back in at least every 30 to 60 minutes because of the short time out on the website. So now I'm having to mess around with TFA over and over all day! This is incredibly annoying; how do I make it stop?

However, Intuit is dedicated to guarding your data with multi-factor authentication and anti-fraud technology. It's intended to confirm a user listed on the account, is signing in using their login ID and password. Click here to learn more about Intuit Security practices.
Multi-factor authentication allows us to send you a one-time confirmation code through your email or mobile device, to protect against password theft. This feature cannot be turned off.

Then turn up, or give me the ability to turn up, the automatic logout functionality to a few hours. This current implentation is insane - I'm even having to login several times to post this response and get a confirmation code each time.

Thanks for joining this thread. QuickBooks Online provides the ability to sign out a user if they are inactive for up to 3 hours. You can change the hours by clicking on the Gear Icon > select Account and settings > select Advanced > on Sign me out if inactive for, click the drop down and select 3 hours > Click on Save and then Done.

I NEVER get an email code NEVER, I have to wait for a phone code from the boss who may or may not be in the office - how do WE fix the email failure?

If you're not receiving a code when logging into QuickBooks Online, it's in relation to your login credentials. Based on what you're saying, I suggest reaching out to your employer to have them review your User Identification and permissions. It's essential to have your email address and phone number accurate and up-to-date, so you can sign in without concerns.

This is happening to me as of last week. Every time I go to my computer, I have to log in and wait for a text message. This is incredibly annoying. I have it set to stay logged in for 3 hours, that isn't enough. I really wish you would change this, it is clearly a problem for many users.

Same thing started happening to one of my employees yesterday, but it doesn't happen on my account.
He is unable to log in at home to work at night because it now calls our office line with code to verify. Very frustrating.
I have been sending feedback for years about multiple issues. Not once has Quickbooks addressed any of these issues. Complete waste of time.
