Specify AR account for payment reminders?

I would like to use the automated payment reminders for customer statements but specify which AR account to pull from, to create statements for open invoices (like in the 'Create Statements' window, where you select the AR account). How do I do this?

Specify AR account for payment reminders?

Hey there HIS Accounts,

Thanks for reaching out to us here. QuickBooks Desktop is a great tool able to help keep your books balanced. Being able to create payment reminders correctly is important. I can provide some information.

Here is an article that will help you with step by step instructions on how to create automated payment reminders for your customers. If you require further assistance, I recommend reaching out to the support team outside of the Community. They'll be able to verify your account details in a secure setting, as well as view your screen to get you back to your QuickBooks goals. You can reach them by following the methods in this link.

If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out here.

Specify AR account for payment reminders?

Hi Amanda,

Thanks for your reply. I have already reviewed and gone through the 'how to' steps, but at no point does it allow you to choose which AR account you want the statements to come from -- is this feature not available with automated statements? (This would be disappointing, given that it is available when creating statements manually).

Glad to have you from you again. It's important to note that the function you've described above isn't available in the program. I can see the benefit of having this feature and I encourage you to send feedback about this to our engineers. You can do this by clicking on the Gear icon and looking for Feedback. Give this a try and let me know if you have questions. Otherwise, I wish you a great rest of the week!
