Quickbook cashflow planner using service date for forecasting instead of estimate date.

I use the QuickBooks cashflow planner as our workload forecast tool. But the cashflow planner bases the projection on estimates as if all the estimate lines will be invoiced fully on the same date.

I would like to see in the cash flow planner the amounts based on the service date and not the estimate date.

Quickbook cashflow planner using service date for forecasting instead of estimate date.

Hello MoisesFLE,

Welcome to the Community. I can see the benefit of having the Cash flow planner show the amounts based on the service date. QuickBooks is a versatile program that enables you to get your work done faster using the accounting features included in the program. I'll be glad to share more details so you can get back to doing what you love.

The ability to customize the Cash flow planner so it shows amounts based on the service date isn't available. I can see how much impact this feature would make on your work flow and I encourage you to send feedback about this to our product developers. To do this, click on the Gear icon and look for Feedback. Here's a helpful article with more info about how to: Use the cash flow planner in QuickBooks Online. I encourage you to check out the article and let me know if you have other questions, I'm here to assist.

In the meantime, feel free to ask other questions. I'm here to help you achieve your QuickBooks goals. :)

Hello JamesM4, I've been reading your comment about the cash flow planner where you say to post comment using the feedback feature in QBO. Well I've been posting a lot of comments about the cash flow planner but never received a single feedback about them from anyone. It is like my post were sent to a black hole !
