Hi,

Can you help me in applying default header & footer on every report that I extract from QB Desktop (e.g. Invoice,Transaction Item Details). Thank you

Hello again, Ray26!

We're almost to the weekend and I hope you're just wrapping up your work before heading out. You're probably familiar with customizing reports to change the information displayed, and I'm happy to share that you can also change the way the report looks. Here's how.

Select Edit from the top menu.
Choose Preferences.
Select Reports & Graphs from the left menu.
Click the Company Preferences tab.
Uncheck the box for Default formatting for reports.
Click Format to begin customizing.

The customization options include what details show in the header and footer, font choices, how to display numbers and so forth. Don't worry, if you ever want to go back to the default, simply click Revert. This article has a bit more information: Set report preferences

Play around and see what you can create to help your reports stand out.

One more step: If you don't want to edit the Header/Footer details each time you open a report, make the necessary changes and Memorize the report. Doing this also gives you the opportunity to group reports and display all reports in the group at the same time.
