Hi so we are having a problem,
Went to do payroll tonight as i have done the same way for 2 years now every Friday.
My staff all use the Quickbooks app to log their hours and then on a Friday all i have to do is approve timesheets and new pay run importing that weeks timesheets.
Worked great for 2 years. Now tonight i get an error "unable to import timesheets"
Anyone else having this?
I'm having the same problem I created pay run without timesheets, then unapproved all timesheets then reapproved and managed to get 2 employes timesheets to import but not the others
Thanks for your sharing your concerns in the QuickBooks Community, @Aidan_Hughes & @JJA2.
Sometimes local internet cache files stored in the system can cause unexpected behavior in the product.
This can be the reason why you're getting the error message "unable to import timesheets".
Let me share with you some basic troubleshooting steps that will help you fix this right away.
First, access your account using a private window and import the Timesheets from there . This mode doesn't record any activity on your local device and will help us isolate the issue. Here's how:
If you're able to successfully move your data in QuickBooks, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. Alternatively, you can use another supported browser if the issue persists.
Stay in touch if you have any other questions or concerns. I’ll be right here to answer them for you. Enjoy the rest of the day.
I tried all that in the 1 1/2 on live chat with support.
Three different computers, two of which never used QBO, 4 different browsers, three different users.
I think the fact that two people are having the same problem on the same day out of the blue I would think there is possibly a problem with the platform.
I ended up doing it manually as no solution other than we will email
when it’s fixed.
Also your solution of incognito does not work for payroll advanced as you get an error “cookies disabled”
I did all of that and its still not working this morning
Also after clearing my caches again I can't login to community unless in incognito window I'm getting this message
Authentication ticket mismatched, failed authentication.
Hi there, @JJA2.
Thanks for following the suggested steps I've shared above.
Since you're still getting the same result, I'd recommend reaching out again to our phone support. That way, they can check the cause of the error and help you import timesheets into QuickBooks.
Here's how to connect with them:

We're having this issue, did you manage to resolve? thanks
Hi nottm1979, thanks for dropping by. We'd like to make sure that you're able to import your timesheet in QuickBooks Payroll.
Do you receive any specific error message when importing, and have you tried importing by signing into QuickBooks through a different web browser or incognito browsing window?
