Greetings, @KHConsult

Congrats on making your first post here in the Community. Let's work together to get these Google trips imported into your QuickBooks Self-Employed account.

Have you tried using a private browser or incognito window as a fix to this? If not, perform these shortcuts:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift +
  • Internet Explorer/Firefox: Ctrl + Shift +
  • Safari: Command + Shift +

It's that easy! If this works, go back to your regular session and clear your browser's history

Come back and let us know if this works for you or if we need to do some additional digging. I'll be waiting for your response!

Hello Carneil,

Thank you, however this doesn't help me, when will this issue be resolved ?

I need to be able to upload my past trip information, I have all the information in a CSV file, why can a simple CSV upload be added to the uploads ?

1. Create a database table to store the CSV file data. This can be done using the CREATE TABLE command in SQL.

2. Create an interface for users to upload the CSV file. This can be done using a HTML form.

3. Write a script to parse the CSV file and insert the data into the database table. This can be done with a combination of PHP and SQL commands.

4. Test the system to make sure that the data is being inserted correctly and is visible in the database.

5. Add authentication and authorization methods to the system to ensure that only authorized users can upload files. This can be done using a combination of PHP and SQL commands.

Cheers

Thank you for coming back to the Community, KHConsult

I know how important it is for your business to import and download your trips (Google) into QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE). This helps keep your record accurate and allows you to track them easily.

At this time, I'm unable to provide a specific time frame for when this issue will be resolved. Rest assured this is being handled with utmost urgency by our engineers so all impacted customers can bring their trips into QBSE seamlessly.

In the meantime, you can import your trips using another Google account. I also recommend contacting our QBSE Care Team to help you sign up for the list of affected users. You'll receive an email once there's progress on the investigation.

To keep your entries organised, make sure to classify them into the correct category. For detailed instructions, click here to access the article: Categorise transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

For resources to help track your miles, handle banking data, and process your taxes and forms, feel free to browse our online resources.

I appreciate your patience while we're working through this. Reach out to me again if you have other questions about mileage tracking or need further assistance while working in QBSE. I'm here to help and make sure you're taken care of.
