Import Google Trips

Hello,

 

I can't import google trips, i keep getting the same ERROR message 

 

"Sorry we could not find any trips"

 

I have downloaded the Takeout zip file and opened it in the chrome extension and there are trips from 2012 upto 2023

 

Help please

    Congrats on making your first post here in the Community. Let's work together to get these Google trips imported into your QuickBooks Self-Employed account. 

     

    Have you tried using a private browser or incognito window as a fix to this? If not, perform these shortcuts: 

     

    • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N 
    • Internet Explorer/Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P 
    • Safari: Command + Shift + N 

     

    It's that easy! If this works, go back to your regular session and clear your browser's history. 

     

    Come back and let us know if this works for you or if we need to do some additional digging. I'll be waiting for your response!

    I have tried the incognito, but unfortunately it still hasn't worked, i'm getting the same error

    I know how important it is for your business to import and download your trips (Google) into QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE). This helps keep your record accurate and allows you to track them easily.

     

    At this time, I'm unable to provide a specific time frame for when this issue will be resolved. Rest assured this is being handled with utmost urgency by our engineers so all impacted customers can bring their trips into QBSE seamlessly.

     

    In the meantime, you can import your trips using another Google account. I also recommend contacting our QBSE Care Team to help you sign up for the list of affected users. You'll receive an email once there's progress on the investigation.

    I just wanted to see if there is any progress on fixing this issue? The original commenter posted since early 2023 and we are at the end of December. I've had the same issue trying to add my trips with no luck since May. Is there no urgency, or do we as clients not even matter?
