Is quickbooks online using less secure apps function?

Hello:
I'm researching this for our accounting team and the 'use less secure apps' function of our Gmail suite is being removed which will break the desktop version of Quickbooks. What I'd like to know is if the Online version of Quickbooks uses the same function and if so, is there a workaround my accounting team can use?

Hi flashj You are able to use any email addresses for you and your users when setting up and inviting users to the online account. Any transactions that you send from our system will be sent from our servers/email address.

Where can I find the info on your mail servers? I'm not the actual person using your software, just trying to comply with the Internet Security team. :)

Thanks for getting back to us on this thread - we've got more details on our mail server host names and IP addresses here - please get back to us below if you're needing any extra info 👨🏻‍💻

I passed your info on the servers to our InfoSec team and they're not keen on it to be honest. The response was: That's Not Good because it essentially means we'd treat every QuickBooks online customer as safe and trusted. I don't think we know enough about how they are using Quickbooks.

Can you tell me briefly where in the process this function is being used? I apologize for awkward questions, I'm sort of the middle man here in this convo. :)
