Unable to Scroll up - iPad

It appears we have a new bug.

I mainly use QBO on either a desktop Mac or an iPad Pro using Safari. It seems specific with accounts pages from what I have seen. If I open an account from the account list I can not scroll up to reveal the list below.

I’ve also checked using Firefox with the same results. The window is registering the actual touch of the finger but just won’t move the page up, just selects whichever part of the screen I’m touching. The up down buttons don’t work either with the Smart Keyboard.

Please (Intuit Staff Bots) don’t tell me to put the browser in private mode and delete the coached files, doesn’t make any difference. I’m reporting this as a bug to see if anyone else can confirm that it is indeed an issue.

Unable to Scroll up - iPad

Hi Mark, thanks for reporting this. If both the QuickBooks app and iPad operating system are updated to the latest version, and the error continues after uninstalling/reinstalling the app, please report this via our chat or phone support team. They'll have the tools to escalate this to our tech team to investigate further. Please also note that QuickBooks is currently only supported on the Safari browser app for iOS devices, meaning behavior may not be as expected when using an alternate app.

@GeorgiaC Not sure you understood my post, this is using SAFARI and FIREFOX not the app.

Hello Tyketages, we have had no other reports of this issue come in to us. Have you checked the settings within the iPad its self.

Unable to Scroll up - iPad

There are no setting specific to scrolling a page on one particular site. My guess, because it displays the same behaviour on two different browsers. That it’s a php code error to allow the page to be scrolled. Hence I was reporting it as a bug. I’ll double check on other iOS devices see if the issue persists.

I’ve tested on three different iOS devices and it’s 100% a bug. None of the account pages can be scrolled.

Do you have a bug reporting method other than the useless feedback process?

Erm, not sure why I would need to talk to someone when reporting a found bug. Why don’t you just report it to the engineers and ask them to investigate the found bug. This should surely be pretty standard procedure instead of wasting my time speaking to someone who’ll just tell me no one else has found the same issue, yet.

Does anyone Intuit employee on here have access to an iPad to see if this information is correct, and then report it to the engineers. Honestly it just gets worse with these STUPID support replies.
