I am trying to capture a payment and keep getting the above error.

I have cleared all caches etc, and nothing changes.

I have re-started my computer - same error.

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm getting an "Unexpected Problem: -30000" when trying to modify an existing invoice.  This happens on a re-cached browser, or on the QBO app.  


I went ahead and checked our records, Qwik. I haven't seen any open cases.

 

It can be caused by some browser hiccups. You can follow EdwardR's steps to isolate the issue.

 

Although, if you're still encountering the same issue after trying the steps, I'd suggest reaching out to our customer care support through phone, chat, or social media like Facebook or Twitter.

 

Here's how to reach out through phone or chat:

  1. Click Help inside QuickBooks Online.
  2. Select Contact Us.
  3. Enter "Unexpected Problem: -30000 when editing an invoice" in the description field, then click Let's talk.
  4. Select either Start messaging or Get a callback

Once it's fixed and your customer pays, you can go ahead and record invoice payments.
