Do I still need a separate receipts app

Hi, I am new to Quickbooks and tried scanning my receipts in via the Capture function and it does not seem to capture the values, do I need to enter them in manually?

 

I have been told I might need a separate app for receipts?

Are you using the QuickBooks Online mobile app?

 

When you capture a photo of your receipts, you can only attach it to the transaction. You'll still have to manually enter the amounts when you create an expense. 

 

Yes, you can also check for third-party apps that will help you scan and automatically enter the receipt's details in our system. You can always visit our website: https://apps.intuit.com. Then, change the country to UK.
