I understand that I can now import invoices using a csv file - has anyone done this yet and how have you found it. Also is there a video tutorial available?

Welcome aboard to the QuickBooks Community, dlande.
I'm here to help show the invoice option when importing data.
You're only able to see this option if you're using the UK version of QuickBooks Online. You can check this article for more information about this feature.
If you're using the right version and you're unable to see the option, please give us a call. You can reach us through these steps:

Let me know if you need more help with importing invoice transactions. I'll be here to help.
Hello spookiebabe,
In QuickBooks Online, we can directly import bank transactions and lists only. To successfully import your invoices, you'll need a third party application that can integrate with QuickBooks Online. You can check out this page for third party applications that will help us import your invoices: https://apps.intuit.com/category/document-management?locale=en-GB.
Feel free to drop any information if you need further help.
Thank you James but I understand that if I upgrade to Quickbooks plus there is a new facility to allow me to do this by going to Quickbooks labs and I have been sent a link about the issue. As I am new to Quickbooks I just wondered if anyone had used it yet as I am a bit wary of how it will work and need to get a csv in the correct format. Obviously, I don't want to upgrade if I will not be able to upload the invoices correctly as the whole idea is to try and save time as we do have a lot of sales to upload on a daily basis.
Hi spookiebabe,
Here is the link for the video which is available through the labs section to demonstrate Invoice and Bill Import the feature I hope this helps!

Please let me know if there is anything else we can help you with. :)
Thank you for your help. Will watch the video later :)
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
This feature is not shown on my version of QB online. I don't see how to import invoices, since invoices is not an option. Do I need to upgrade for this?

Thank you for your help. I have just tried this and it is brilliant and it will save me so much time and the best thing is I don't have to use a third party!
Is there anything I can use to upload refunds en-masse as this too would be very useful.
Hello, glad that was helpful. There is not currently a way to bulk upload credit notes. You can upload your bank transactions if it is the case you are wanting to reflect money refunded to customers or yourself if however it is to show that you are in credit and you or the customer is not getting the money back there is no current way to bulk do this.
Any further questions let us know
Thank you for your reply. The situation is that I raise a customer refund to reflect returns to us and then link this into my paypal or bank account when the money is paid back to the customer. Maybe it will come in the future, like the upload invoices, as again to be able to upload these in bulk ready to reconcile with the bank account would be really good.
I notice that they have also added import bills so will be trying this out next :)
It is a possibility they may add this in future, I am not aware of this yet but yes they have expanded what you can manually import form csv recently so hopefully it will become an option :)
Has the invoice import function on QBO been fixed yet so that it is fully functional?
I am having an issue with it falling over if an item already exists.
It's been raised with support but nothing seems to have been done about it.
Hello In2c welcome to the Community.
Can I please check if you had a case raised with our support team over the phone? They should have connected your case to the ongoing investigation if this is the case.
If you can provide us with your E-mail address over social media Facebook/Twitter to QuickBooks UK we can check to see if your case is connected so that you will receive regular E-mail updates with reference to this.
Thanks,
Hi there,
Case [removed] and [removed]. You will find my email address on both of those.
I raised the issue on the 25th of October originally, then a second case was raised linked to the first when I asked for updates/progress on the 27th November as I hadn't heard anything since the start of November.
Hello In2c,
I am unable to see any details you have provided over the Community due to security if you can provide this over social media I can check this for you.
Thanks,

Hello, Edward.
I can not see the option "Invoices" in "Gear > Import Data".
Could you help me to understand what is wrong?
Hey dgegeev,
Could you confirm the package you are using with Quickbooks?
Could you also confirm what options you do see on the import Data section?
Thanks,
Amanda^
Current plan is "plus"
I see "Bank" , "Customers", "Vendors ", " Chart of Accounts" , "products & Services"
What region product do you have?
Thanks,
I use QBO here in Texas
