Hi adelemeers, thanks for your post - we're not aware of any issues with this, can we check the specific problem with the address formatting? 🧐
I'm having problems editing customer names and addresses.
Twice now, I have edited a customer name (basically a re-wording) - it shows the corrected version in the customer details, but when I issue an invoice, the old (uncorrected) wording appears on the invoice billing address. This has happened to two different customers so far.
Hello there, @adelemeers.
You may be experiencing some browser hiccups. We'll perform some basic troubleshooting to fix it. Let's start with logging into your account through a private browser. It's the best spot to isolate web issues.
• Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
• Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
• Safari: press Command + Shift + N
If you can edit the customer's name and address successfully using the private browsing session, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache to refresh the program. We advise our users to delete them now and then to prevent and fix issues like this.
If the steps above didn't work, use another supported browser as an alternative.
For further guidance, please see this article: Edit Customer Information.
Additionally, I've added an article that'll help you personalize and add specific details to sales forms. This helps you create attractive, professional-looking invoices, estimates, and sales receipts for your clients: Customize Sales Forms in QuickBooks Online.
Please let me know in the comments if you have other questions about managing your customer's information in QuickBooks. I always got your back.
