Allow me to share some info about the Master Admin claim in QuickBooks Online (QBO). If you're going to transfer the master admin role to an existing QBO user, you may follow the steps below:

1. Go to Settings and select Manage Users. Make sure you sign in with the master admin account. 
2. In the User Type column choose the user you want to be the master admin, select Edit to transfer the role to them.
3. Click the small arrow in the Action column to the right of the user. Then, choose Make master admin. 
4. For security, we send a verification code to the phone number or email on file for your account. When you receive the verification code, enter it, and hit Continue.
5. In the window, tap Make master admin to confirm that you want to make the change.
6. Go to Settings and tick Sign Out to sign out as the current master admin.
7. When the user gets the invitation email, ask them to click the link and accept the invitation.

The Master Admin listed on my account Sean Lyles was released from the company in March of 2019. I need to get the Master Admin changed to me "Gwyn R Picerne" as I am the owner of the company and I need to access account for tax purposes. 

I did dissolve the Sterling Trade Services LLC in June of 2019.

I was told by Quickbooks that I need to do a Master Admin Claim so that I can change the email address that Is on my account but no longer any good.

I moved and no longer can access the email on my acount and need to change my password and email for my accounts

Are you still able to access as Company Admin?

No. I can't get into anything. It is Quickbooks Pro 2015. and I chose not to pay to keep getting updates as they were more of a hassel as I just wanted the plain quickbooks.

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), it could only have one Master Admin. If you'd want to change the Master Admin role, you must be signed up as the Master Admin to transfer it.

To change the role, the user must be listed as an Admin first. If they’re not, you can choose the Edit to change them to an admin. Once done, you can request to be the primary admin.

I'd also suggest contacting our customer support team. This way, they'll be able to guide you through the whole process of the Master Admin rights. 

Here's how:

1. Click the Help menu in the upper-right hand corner.
2. Type in "Talk to a human", then press Enter.
3. Look for I still need a human and click on it.
4. Click Get help from a human or Contact Support Team.
5. Select between Send a message, Schedule an appointment, or Get a callback.
