Thanks for reaching out to the Community, @Dhairya.

The option to split one QuickBooks Online (QBO) company's data between two years is unavailable. You'll need to sign up for a separate QBO subscription if you haven't created one to split your company data. Here's how:

  1. Go to this link and choose the plan you want to subscribe to: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/pricing/
  2. You can click the Buy Now button or the Free 30-Day Trial.
  3. Click the Sign in link next to Already have an Intuit account?
  4. Follow the on-screen process to proceed.

On the other hand, you can trace your transactions between two years in a single QBO company by departments, product lines, or any other significant business segments using the class tracking feature. Visit this article for more details about this feature: Get started with class tracking in QuickBooks Online.

While this option is unavailable, you can send this request to our Product Development Team to help improve your experience. They can review your suggestions and make some necessary adjustments in the next update. Let me show you how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Feedback.
  2. Enter your comments or product suggestions.
  3. Click Next.

In addition, I've attached a link that will help you effectively manage your account: Learn about QuickBooks Online with how-to videos.

If there's anything else you need help with splitting your company's data, please don't hesitate to let me know. I'll be around and more than happy to help you. Keep safe!

Hi Kevin

If I go for another subscription, what about my old dat.

I have uploaded all my invoice file in QB, so that data is necessary for me.

If in case I am going for new subscription, what about all data.

Hello there, @Dhairya Bhatia. I'll share additional information on what happened to your data if your subscription ended.

Once your subscription ended, you'll still have a view and read-only access to your records that last for a year, after that time given you can no longer access your account, all the data will be permanently deleted. Thus, you can download your reports, lists, and other data from QuickBooks Online. That way, you'll be able to save them to your local hard drive and still use it for future purposes.

If you'd like to proceed with exporting your data, you can refer to the following article for the detailed steps:

Feel free to post a reply if you need more help with managing QuickBooks data. I'll be around. Have a good one!

@Dhairya

What do you mean by "split"?

Why do you need to do that?
