BANKFEEDS download failure

Quickbooks Pro 2021

Bankfeeds download failure (no error)

History:  Successful use of bankfeeds for two years.

New credit card number issued by bank.  Changed bankfeed QB target account to new card, then back to original QB target account (original).  Bankfeed update shows successful download, however nothing is download, despite new transaction posted on bank side.

Tried deactivating/reactivating, removing bankfeed setup, merging accounts, etc.

Help please.

BANKFEEDS download failure

Good evening, @trt

It's great to see you back in the Community. Let's work together to use these bank feeds successfully.

Before digging further, I'll need to gather some more information from you.

What's the banks name that is activated in QuickBooks Desktop?

I'll be able to look on my side to see if there are any open investigation about your problem. I'll be back around shortly to check in!

CHASE

I disconnected from the OLD chase bank feeds and reconnected to the “New CHASE bank feeds” conduit.

All was working perfect until I changed the Quickbooks target account!

BANKFEEDS download failure

I've got you covered, trt.

Bank feeds fail when there is an issue with the saved login credentials for your Intuit User ID or the company file in which you are working problem. I'll go over some troubleshooting steps to resolve this.

Please ensure that all bank feeds for all accounts are deactivated or disconnected before we proceed with the process. Then, you can follow the steps below.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Help and select Reset Intuit ID settings.
  2. Enter YES in the text field, then click OK.
  3. Go to Company and choose My Company.
  4. Select Sign In.
  5. Sign in using your Intuit login credentials (not your company file credentials).
  6. Connect to your financial institution again.

If the issue persists, let's run verify and rebuild data to ensure your company file is free from any potential data damage. You can also download and install QuickBooks Tool Hub for additional troubleshooting steps.

Once the transactions have been successfully downloaded, you can begin adding and matching them to any existing entries in QuickBooks. Refer to this resource for a complete guide: Add and match Bank Feed transactions in QuickBooks Desktop.

You're welcome to post again if you need further assistance with bank feeds. I'll be around to help you.
