When you connect your account for online banking, the system will download the transactions that are 90 days old. The feeds you received in the For Review tab comes from the command sent by the bank.
Just to clarify, are these transfers imported right after adding or connecting the bank online? I need this information to help me rule out the problem.
In the meantime, if these are imported incorrectly and should not be categorized as transfers, you can just exclude them. To guide you further with excluding bank entries, follow the steps below:
Excluded transactions are then moved to the Excluded tab, and won’t be added to QuickBooks or be downloaded again. To permanently delete duplicate entries, put a check mark on them, then hit Delete.
The following are related links that highlights the information about managing online banking transactions:
Kindly add the additional details below. I'll be waiting for your response and I'll be right here to help you further. Have a nice day!
It is only the new acct that does not " match" or "add" correctly, all other linked accts "match" or "add" bank transactions properly. The same thing happened last year with another acct. It was really strange because the transactions in question showed up as dollar amounts that equaled the month.(i.e, all transasctions in July were $7.00, August trans were $8.00, etc.) Is this a bank issue? Intuit says its the bank, the bank says it's Intuit. But it is just ONE out of four accts this is happening to.
Thanks for your reply, mjrestaurant.
I can share some troubleshooting steps to check if this is caused by an outdated or corrupt cache files in your web browser. What you can do is open an incognito or private browser. This mode prevents your browsing history from being stored. You can use the keyboard shortcuts below:
Then, go to Transactions > Banking and check if your transactions are still showing up as Transfers. If not, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. Please make sure to restart your browser afterwards. On the other hand, try using a different supported browser as an alternate solution.
You can also share the name of your bank so we can check for any reported issues from our end.
I'm determined to get this fixed for you. Please me know how things go after giving this a try. I'll keep an eye out for your reply.
It is only with new acct.(I have four accts total linked)The bank is BB&T. I tried trouble shooting tips and still not working. Intuit says bank issue, bank says Intuit issue, LOL. The odd thing is that it happened last year also with another acct that is now closed. The one common thing I can come up with is it has something to do with the month that the transactions are made in(i.e.-All transactions in July showed up as $7.00, August - $8.00, Sept - $9.00 etc). Very strange...
