Is there a way to contact Greendot bank directly as I’m having issues with my account and QuickBooks is not available on the weekends

I know the importance of getting all your pending transactions, Jdcarr.

 

Currently, we have an ongoing investigation about Green Dot Bank bank feed not bringing in bank transactions. I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Support Team to ensure you'll be added as one of the affected users. Rest assured that you'll be notified once this is resolved.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Help (?) icon at the top.
  2. On the Assistant tab, click Talk to a human.
  3. Enter your concern in the Type something field, then click the Send icon.
  4. Click on I still need a human.
  5. Select Get help from a human.
  6. Choose Chat with us or Have us call you.

I lost access to my green dot account on the 22nd of June. Green Dot confirmed my funds and account are still there but QBs can't find it or connect it. They have been transferring me back and forth for days

Don't let up on them. This is insane for an issue like this to continue for WEEKS. How does a bank and an ACCOUNTING software company (possibly the largest in the world) not have the capability to fix an issue like this in less than 48-72 hours.....and that's a stretch. And even worse QB is pushing to be an online service. What a joke if they can't keep a basic account balance accurate. It's unbelievably embarrassing to say to my clients that their accountants accounting software is preventing them from being able to pay me via the system I have invoices them through. I'll just end by saying that I also can't believe there hasn't been one single article, headline, statement, or email specifying or updating us on this issue. I really wish someone would bring media attention to the fact that a bank and an enormous company such as intuit has tens of thousands of dollars, if not hundreds of thousands, of its customers money locked up since AT LEAST June 13th................... we are letting them off easy

Still waiting here.    I can access the money that’s in the QB checking account … I can deposit and use ATM and my ACH debits still come out and go in just fine… (for now). But that’s not my issue nor has it been.  My problem is All transactions on my debit card create an authorization… “hold the funds until the transaction completes”. However when the transaction completes it does not release the hold it just finalizes the transaction and debits that amount.   I have found a work around for now and that is DO NOT keep enough money in the account to let the Authorization “double dip”. It will post and finalize and the authorization will still show but it will not deduct more out of your balance.   Learned this the hard way as to the tune of free floating almost $20k for these fools.   Someone told me that authorizations just fall off between 7-30 days.  Well I’m well past 7 and creeping up on 20 so we shall see if my balance increases $20k.   I am slowly moving everything away from this account which is sad because the QB checking account was really good with a debit card that allowed $10k a day in purchases.  But.  Oh well.  It’s not worth this headache.   It is just hard sorting out all the ACH and Auto Pays that are linked because I have used this account for over a year processing $50k plus a month through it.    I have FOUND a better alternative for the same business checking and payment/ invoice platform. Can’t say what it is on here because the review will not be posted.  But BOLD letters tell all… 😀. Good Luck everyone.   And we should all get together to force a solution here.  I’m loosing thousands a day with this mess.  Let alone my accountant hourly pay and my time as the president having to navigate this mess.

I'm just as upset about this as you are and it amazes me that there isn't any official and professional statement from intuit regarding this. How the hell can this still be an issue for this long? I am getting ready to begin searching for a Way to take action against them. This is costing me money and I am unable to pay bills. My clients cannot pay me etc........... it is OUR money they are holding, and it clearly isn't a priority to them so in my eyes it feels almost like theft. Zero excuse that weeks later this should be an issue. I was ok for a day or 2. Not this long. I read on another thread where someone was contacting the attorney General in their state (or already had). Not certain which route I am taking but I think we should all ban together and stop letting the moderators on here give us generic responses about reading some stupid "how to" page about a d*mn checking account. It's a checking account..... I don't need a "help" article about how to use it..... its insulting to see so many responses like that. I don't need your FAQ page i need my money and so do the other business owners on here. My message may be unprofessional but I am irate that I have paid these people large percentages of my revenue just for them to put me in a position where I can't pay a bill. Ridiculous!!!!!! If you're a QB representative looking to respond and help, then save your fingers from hitting copy/paste, and instead lookup my account and have someone call me. I know that won't happen, but the burden should NOT be on us, the customer, to reach out and remind you that your system is broken, and that we need our money!

Does anyone have an update on this issue? I want my money quickbooks. Anyone know anything about FDIC or another agency we can contact to report this? At bare minimum I want to see media attention brought to the issue. It's been a month and they haven't fixed it and continue giving us the run around. Any help from the community is appreciated. I'm not simply ranting, I want to take action and any help is appreciated, if anyone would like to join me or help we can exchange contact information. This is concerning for them to not even address the issue out in the open, and the amount of time that has elapsed is almost unbelievable. I've saw where some of you have tens of thousands tied up. Let's get some answers, I will help in anyway I can.

No updates.  Called yesterday.  Offshore call center tells for GreenDot (QB rep had to get permission to call them from their supervisor) … QB Money rep could see everything I could see and was horrified…. GreenDot Rep I was transferred to offshore admitted there is technical issues and said they have no completion date. After she Tried to tell me nothing is wrong. Said their “Hands are Tied”
