Learn how to archive and view payroll tax forms using QuickBooks Online Payroll.
For your record keeping purposes, you'll want to archive past payroll forms. Once archived, they're easily accessible in the event you need to retrieve the information.
Archive a payroll form
Follow this link to complete the steps in product
- Navigate to the Payments tab.
- Select Pay on the desired period to record the transaction.
Once the transaction is recorded the form will be archived automatically.
Availability of archived payroll forms
The available period for archived payroll forms is not unlimted; rather, it extends back on for a year or two.

To view an archived form:

- Select Archived forms and filings under the Filings tab. All available archived forms are listed here.
- Select the necessary form.
- Select View.
