If the issue happens to one regular user, you can delete and then recreate the user, as this might be a damaged user causing the issue.

Here’s how:

1. Navigate to Company, then click Set Up Users and Passwords.

2. Select Intuit User Account Management.

3. Choose the user, click the dropdown, and choose option to remove the user.

4. After removing the user, click Add User and recreate that user.

However, if this crash only happens to the Admin user, use the Verify and Rebuild tool, as Verify scans for structural corruption and Rebuild automatically repairs it. If that doesn't work, use File Doctor to diagnose and fix deep-seated file errors causing the crashes.

If you find that signing in on another computer works fine, that means the issue is isolated to QuickBooks on your current machine. In that case, your next steps will be to reinstall QuickBooks Desktop or run Windows updates.
