In QuickBooks 2021, you will see the Notes on the right pane when you highlight an employee, like in the screenshot. If nothing shows up on your end, please update your QuickBooks to fix this display issue.
On the other hand, we've made some improvements and introduced new features in version 2021 that you can use in your business processes. Check out the details in this article: What’s new in QuickBooks Desktop 2021.
