I am having problems printing W-2's.
It wants me to save as a PDF but then tells me I need Acrobat Adobe subscription to print.
I did not have this issue last year.
Hello,
My state requires our W2 (2 per Page). That is not an option in QB.
Can you help?
Are you QBO or Desktop? Desktop (I believe) defaults to 2-per-page. Online only lets you choose between 3 horizontal and 4 horizontal per page.
I have 500 blank perforated pages, 2 up and QuickBooks WILL NOT LET ME PRINT employee copies on 2 up format, must select 3 or 4. Now the Employers copy, copy d, is set up to print 2 part. Does anyone know if it is ok to print copy D multiple times for employees?
Using QuickBooks Premiere desktop.
@kathleenc78 The employee copy necessarily has Copy B, Copy 2, and Copy C included. One copy for the federal government, one copy for the state government, and one for the employee to keep.
This isn't QuickBooks' decision; that's the way the government decided it was going to be.
Where did you get those 2-part perforated pages from?
In any case, if you still want to use them, just print one using Copy D and see if it lines up properly. Unless you've got a particularly persnickety employee, I doubt they'll care.
Thanks I'll try that!
@kathleenc78 Good luck.
Just keep in mind that suitable windowed envelopes may not exist for that kind of W-2. Careful that the sensitive information doesn't show through the window.
