Creating Estimates

I can see how vital it is to create an estimate without error in QuickBooks Online, michell. Let's go over some troubleshooting steps to ensure you can record the specified entry.

To start with, a cache full of history and temp files can cause unexpected behaviors, such as getting an error while creating a transaction in QBO. I recommend logging in to your QuickBooks account using a private browser. Then, create an estimate from there. This is to rule out the possibility of a webpage issue, and incognito doesn't store local files or cache. You can use the keyboard shortcuts provided above based on the browser you're using.

If the issue persists, I suggest contacting our QuickBooks Online Support Team. They're the best support group for such inquiries as they can request account information. This way, they'll be able to identify the cause of the error and fix it as soon as possible.

Here's how:

1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
2. Click the Help (?) icon.
3. On the Assistant tab, enter Talk to a human.
4. Enter a short description of your concern and press Enter.
5. Select Contact Us to connect with a live support agent.
6. Choose how you'll want to get in touch with the support.

• Start a chat with a support expert.
• Get a callback from the next available expert.

Welcome to the Community, Lisa. I'll ensure that you can include the logo when creating an estimate template and print it in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), you can utilize the Custom Form Styles feature to add a logo.

Before that, below are the things you need to consider to avoid issues when performing the task:

• It should be a .gif, .bmp, .png, .jpg, .jpe, or .jpeg file.
• The file should be smaller than 10 MB24-bits or less in a bit of depth.
• Square-shaped.

Once everything is in order, please follow the steps below to create an estimate template:

1. From the upper right side, click the Gear icon.
2. Select Custom Form Style.
3. Click the New style dropdown and choose Estimate.
4. Click the Design tab, then go to the Make logo edits section.  
5. Add a logo by clicking the Plus Sign. You can adjust its size and placement.
6. Enter the name of your template.
7. After reviewing everything in your template, press Done.

After saving, return to your Estimate and perform a print test. The logo should appear on your printed estimates. Additionally, you can make it the default template by choosing the dropdown in the Action column and clicking on Make Default.
