Suddenly when I open an item to edit it, the window is much larger than before. Used to just be a small box containing all the item info. Now is much larger and I see no options to make it smaller again.

Sorry, Candice C, I have no idea how to do a screenshot, have never had to do that before. But picture a 3x5 card full of info with a margin around all 4 sides of approx 1/4", then suddenly when you open an item the 3x5 card is the same on the top and left sides, but now the margin on the right and bottom sides are far away from the 3x5 area where the data is located, by several inches.

I checked a few areas of my test account to see why your view may have changed in your QuickBooks Desktop account. One route that I would try to readjust the screen is to:
1. Go to the View tab in the top navigation menu.
2. Select Multiple Windows, rather than One Window.
This option will allow you to view several smaller windows with tasks you've been working on, instead of a larger solitary window taking up so much space.

Thank you, MorganB, but the multiple windows option is already what I use. Nothing has changed at all except the size of the edit items window. There is a small "T" in the upper left corner that you can normally select the "size" option from, but the edit item window drop-down does not allow a "size" option. There are also no arrows when I hover over the border of the window, so I'm not able to enlarge the window further or drag it smaller - back to its normal size. Very frustrating. I contacted Intuit this morning, but they did not have a solution and I denied them access to my system because I did not have time for them to do research if they did not have the answer. Is that the same as the Desktop Customer Support Team to which you referred? Thanks again.
