You don't need to update your payroll information since you won't use direct deposit. Also, you'll get this error since your direct deposit has an existing issue.

If you need to get rid of the error, I recommend requesting a callback from our QuickBooks Desktop Payroll Team. They need to collect some information and help enable the direct deposit pay when needed.

Here's how to get a callback.

1. Open QuickBooks.
2. Go to Help, then select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
3. Select Contact Us.
4. Enter your concern, then select Continue.
5. Choose Get a callback from an expert (availability may be limited).

Thank you. I made the mistake of answering a message someone sent me and it ended up being a scam.  So I have to purchase the 2022 edition.  I was going to have to do that anyway.
