You may open QBO Accountant account for free.

Thanks for checking in with us, AmrutaC.

You'll need to have QucikBooks Online (QBO) Accountant when taking the QuickBooks Proadvisor learning material and certification exam. Just start a new training course by following the steps below:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online Accountant.
  2. Go to the ProAdvisor menu.
  3. Click the Training tab.
  4. Choose one of the training course categories.
  5. Select a course and then Start. You can also hit the Resume button to continue a course you already started.

Just use Chrome, Safari version 11 and later (Mac only), Firefox, or Microsoft Edge web browsers to take courses or exams. If you only see completed courses but haven't taken any courses yet, reach out to our support team. To learn more about this one, see the Sign up for ProAdvisor and QuickBooks certification courses article. For more details about ProAdvisor certifications and courses, refer to the Access ProAdvisor certification courses article.

Feel free to visit our Get started page for more insight about managing your QuickBooks Online Accountant account.

I'm just one post away if you need a hand with managing your ProAdvisor Profile account or any QBSE related. I'll be here to ensure your success. Take care always.

Hi

I signed up for Quickbooks but it asked me for firm name, zip code and number of employees. Since I do not have a firm, I closed the tab. Later, when I tried to sign in, I am getting the error that there is no Quickbooks Online Company or Quickbooks Accountant Account associated with my email id. I do not know what to do now. I tried signing to Quickbooks for Self-employed but not able to do that either. Can you please help?

Thanks!

Hello @AmrutaC,

As much as I'd love to offer help and share how you can sign up for QuickBooks Online Account to access the ProAdvisor Certification, we've got separate support who can address this in no time. Thus, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care Support.

With their tools, one of our specialists can pull up your account on file and share the steps needed to create your profile. You can do so by following the steps below:

  1. Go to Help.
  2. Select Contact Us.
  3. Enter a few words describing your goal for today in the What can we help you with? field.
  4. Click Continue.
  5. Choose a channel where you wanted to connect with our dedicated support.

In addition, here's an article you can read to learn more about our support hours: Contact QuickBooks Products and Services Support.

Lastly, I've also included this reference for a compilation of articles you can use while working with us: General rules and common questions about ProAdvisor profiles and the Find-a-ProAdvisor website.

If you have any other questions, please let me know by leaving any comments below. I'll be here to lend a hand.
