The issue of Quickbooks 2020 pro on a Windows environment, crashes randomly thought-out the user session.

Completely stripe hosting server 2019 of QB2020, including all registry files. Reinstall fresh copy on server.

No errors in server event viewer.

Used QBToolHUB & File doctor with same results.

However, the following error in event viewer on client pcs (Win 10 Pro).

An unexpected error has occured in "QuickBooks Desktop Pro 2020":

DB error -308 ErrorMessage:'Connection was terminated' from file:'src\dmsqlprefattribute.cpp' at line 151 from function:'DMPrefAttribute::IDBPrefAttribute::DBLoad'

An unexpected error has occured in "QuickBooks Desktop Pro 2020":

ExecuteQuery failed (DETAIL AVAILABLE), error id: -6019, sub id: 0, 'Succeeded', ''

An unexpected error has occured in "QuickBooks Desktop Pro 2020":

DQE execution failed. Could not retrieve COUNT(user name).

An unexpected error has occured in "QuickBooks Desktop Pro 2020":

DB error -101 ErrorMessage:'Not connected to a database' from file:'src\dmsqltransaction.cpp' at line 173 from function:'DBMgr::SADMTransaction::DBSQLCommit'

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Hello there, Jimmy.

I really appreciate you for adding a screenshot along with the details of your concern.

We can run the verify and rebuild data to fix these errors. This also helps to resolve minor data issues within your company file.

The initial step is to select Windows and then opt for close all option. Then, verify data. They're required to select File and then Utilities option. The steps below will guide you further:

  1. Then, go to the File menu.
  2. Select Utilities
  3. Click Verify Data

To Rebuild:

  1. Go to the File menu.
  2. Select Utilities
  3. Click Rebuild Data

If the issue persists, I suggest running a clean install. A clean install fixes issues that keep you from opening your company file and a few other situations. Another way is to use the QuickBooks File Doctor. For the complete steps, I've added this reference as your guide: Fix company file and network issues with QuickBooks File Doctor.

Let me know if there's anything that I can help with. Keep safe always.

HI Sarah,

1. perform backp

2. Verify data, 4 errors found

3. rebuild data 4 errors fixed

Will verify the result tomorrow, in a working environment, then post result.

Thanks Again,
