QBO down on Chrome

Quickbooks Online is not working on chrome for me today. I am able to access it via Microsoft Edge, but use chrome for my work normally and have had no issues in the past accessing QB there. I am getting the error code : VALIDATION_ERROR&multiCompany=true in the address bar and the page itself says "try another company." When I click on that, I get the same error. Has anyone encountered this before? Thanks!

QBO down on Chrome

Thanks for reaching out to us, @ggamble17.

The error message you see when accessing QuickBooks Online (QBO) in Chrome could be due to corrupted cache files in your browser. Let's perform a few troubleshooting solutions to isolate the issue.

You can begin by opening a Chrome incognito browser and logging into your QBO account. Here's the keyboard shortcut:

  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N

If it fixes the issue, let's clear the cache in your browser to start fresh and ensure optimal performance. If not, I recommend contacting QuickBooks Online Support. This way, they'll be able to perform a screen-sharing session or may create a case for investigation. Here's how:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company. Click Help (?).
  2. Choose an either tab to get started: Assistant or Talk to a human.
  3. Search Contact Us.
  4. Start a chat with a support expert.

Please feel free to check out this post to learn how to deal with future browser issues: Troubleshooting browser problems.
