Please forgive a very frustrated QBO user in advance. Need QBO people to fix these issues ASAP!
I use QBO advanced and google chrome as my browser. About 3 months ago I noticed some significant glitches. One is when entering a bill or billing a customer you used to be able to Tab over to the next box to fill in info, now you have to click in the box using the mouse 2 times before you can type in it (especially when selecting a GL from my chart of accounts when entering a bill. I NEED THE TAB FUNCTION BACK.
When you save/close an invoice for a customer the invoice closes and the window that opens on the screen reverts to a different customer (not the one you had just selected and entered the invoice for. so you have to search for the customer again. Also if you view the audit trail and then click the back button it takes you back to the invoice but when you close that invoice it takes you back to the audit screen so you have to search for the customer again to get back to their list of transactions.
The bank fee debackle is TOO MUCH to deal with this manual process.
The program often gets stuck thinking! All the time!
I am regularly booted out of the program even though I had just logged in.
The search function for customers main page did not work when trying find a customer. Had to select random customer then search using customer list in the side bar.
Am unable to select a customer in the side bar sometimes.
Need to merge two banks in QBO Advanced.
New issue discovered today. When I "view the errors" a list of the invoices that did not send (undeliverable) which is great. However, if you click the invoice or customer in this list to view or edit the invoice from this "Delivery Errors" window it WILL TAKE YOU OUT OF QBO AND FORCE YOU TO LOG BACK IN. Every time with any customer you select from this window. you have to go the long way around to actually view/edit the invoice. Though you can correct the email address and send it via this window. Which is a bonus if you know that your invoice is ok. Then you can go the long way around to enter the correct email into the actual invoice since it doesn't automatically update within the invoice.

Probably, this is a browser-related issue. If that's the case, try using an incognito window. This prevents your browser from storing additional cache files that may be causing you to experience unusual behavior every time you use QuickBooks.
Then, delete cache and temporary internet files. If it works, you can clear cache and temporary internet files to optimize the browser's performance. It will also help delete the information stored in the cache. Another way is to use compatible browsers with QuickBooks Online.
Still, yes, calling our Support Team is a great way to easily figure out this issue. They can take a look at your account in detail and check your QuickBooks. You can utilize the Help icon within your QuickBooks Online company.

Thank you for your help! I tried incognito window. It still does it. I also deleted the cache and it didn't fix it. I previously used Edge browser and it did it too.
When I try to tab to the category section the tab goes to the green plus symbol and makes the boxes shift left. When i select the category it seems to be the correct size, but when you get to the description area the text you type goes down in a tiny box so you can't see what you are typing. The words should go to the right... you have to click out and back in or dont use tab but click into the category section (once or twice) to be able to enter the data in correctly.
Any other ideas? My colleague also has the glitch. I believe the green plus symbol is causing all the trouble.

As mentioned above, my recommendation would also be to clear the browser cache and cookies but since that didn't do the trick I suggest calling in to speak with a member of the QuickBooks Online Support Team. Agents have the necessary tools to take a more in depth look at your account. They will also be able to get this issue escalated further if need be. Here's how to get in touch with the team:
1. Click the Help button in the top right corner.
2. Select Contact Us.
3. Enter Support in the field and choose Let's talk.
4. From here you can select to receive a callback at a time that's convenient for you, or begin a live chat session with an agent.

@Connorka As I stated in the previous post, the Tab function not working is a KNOWN issue with QB. It has been for months. They are refusing to do anything about it.
All you can do is contact them and ask to be put on the "affected user list" or wait it out and hope they fix it.

Latest update is that the tabbing issue is supposed to be fixed this week... unless they REALLY broke it and have to redo something. Then, it will take even longer, if at all.
