As long as your QB program doesn't crash, you'll be fine with those annoying error messages. Otherwise, you can contact me and we can offer you a newer version with a non-subscription license to run on Win 10.
@Fiat Lux - ASIA I just sent an email. Is there a way to contact via phone, zoom, google meet, or whatsapp?
Thank you!
In QuickBooks on the menu bar click HELP>Internet Connection Setup>Next>Advanced Connection Setting>Security (tab)>Restricted Sites>Sites. In the "Add this website to the zone:" paste or type url address the error message is complaining about, such as uxfabric(.)intuitcdn(.).net, as an example. Click Add>Close>OK>Done. The "." are in parenthesizes because the Community no longer allows URL address examples.)
Logoff QuickBooks and then log back in. The script error message will no longer appear.
This can be used for all script error messages when opening QuickBooks. I have encountered several. They all seem to be connected to "User Experience Enhancement" (aka User Tracking) that are not functioning correctly. Blocking them does not affect the software....other than to block some pop-up ads Intuit may try to send.
You can answer YES or NO to get past the script error message if you are not bothered by it and do not want to take the above action. It does not affect QuickBooks one way or the other.
@NFern Thank you for the insight, I’ll give those steps a shot. So, just to confirm, these script error does not put the program at risk of crashing?
@kb2393, I can only speak for myself since I am NOT an Intuit employee. I have been using it this way since at least February of 2020, and have never had it crash on me. I am using QuickBooks Enterprise 2016 desktop version on the latest version of Windows 10. Your results may vary.
Backup your data and try it. You can always undo the settings I suggested. You will find others have had similar success with similar solutions if you scourer the Community with search term "script error".
