Buy nowHas this happened to anyone else? I am updating my vendor list and this is the second time this has happened to me, forcing me to close Quickbooks (Desktop Pro 2021) and relaunch again. It's very frustrating. Please see image I attached.
How big is your file size?
Try opening the sample file. Did you encounter the same issue?
My company file size is 64,240 kb. I have not tried opening a sample company file, simply because this only happens on the vendor screen (so far anyway), and as soon as I exit and reopen, it's fine again.
Hi there, TB666.
I'm here to help fix the screen issue you're having in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).
When your QBDT screen turns completely black and white, it can hinder your ability to view the necessary information. In such cases, there are recommended solutions available to address this issue.
You can begin by utilizing the Quick Fix my Program tool found in the QuickBooks Tools Hub. This tool is designed to resolve common errors and issues within QBDT. To get started, you will need to download and install the QuickBooks Tools Hub.
Here's how:
After that, run the Quick Fix my Program tool. Here's how:
Once done, open QBDT again and return to the Vendors list to double-check.

Also, to further guide you in managing the growth of your business and transactions in QBDT, I'd recommend checking out this article: QuickBooks Help Articles. It provides valuable guidance and offers video tutorials to help you navigate the product with ease.

I know that it can hinder you from seeing the important information. It could be a data issue. Have you tried opening a sample file? Also, please verify, rebuild, and run it in the Tool Hub. The verify tool checks your company file for common problems. You don't need to look for anything to fix. To solve this issue, you will need to use the rebuild tool.
To rebuild your company file data, here's how:

Feel free to ask if you have any more questions about this or anything else. I'm here to help.
THIS IS A BIG ISSUE CAME FROM 2015 SOFTWARE AND CONTINUED WITH 2024 IS A BUG AND WE LOST INFORMATION, IN ONE AUDITORY THAT IS A DESASTER, QB HAVE THE RESPONSABILITY OF FI THIS ERROR.
@LANDSCAPING1 As far as I understand it, the most common cause of this behavior is too much information in the QB file. I see it a lot in my bigger QB files.
There's not much to do for it aside from data compression or starting a new QB file at the start of a new year or, as relevant, fiscal year. Data gets old, it corrupts, and I'd be shocked if QB put out any kind of fix for it.
