Buy nowHello all, I'm using the Shopify Channel Connector in quickbooks online and I'm having trouble with PayPal transactions/payouts via shopify. Not all Shopify orders paid via PayPal are being recorded in the Payouts data imported into quickbooks (Commerce - Payouts) and thusly not recorded in my sales income for shopify. Some Shopify PayPal transactions are, and some are not. At first I thought it was international transactions that were not recording, but it's actually US orders all in USD - some record some do not.
Is anyone else experiencing this? Is this a know bug? How do I get this fixed? When I call quickbooks support, I feel like I'm teaching the support agent how to use the software hahaha - actually quite frustrated.
Regards,
Jon
Viewing the Shopify orders paid via Paypal is essential to monitor the business transactions, JDM160. I recognize the challenge of seeking support, so I'll note your interaction with our live expert. In the meantime, I'll direct you to the correct support to handle this issue.
Please know that QuickBooks Online relies on Shopify's data, which means that the app dictates the transactions recorded in QuickBooks. If the missing entries are old, you can enter them manually.
Additionally, I recommend contacting Shopify's Customer Support for further assistance. They can help determine why some transactions did not import and verify payments that are in a different payment gateway.
Once everything is set, refer to these resources to match transactions and reconcile your accounts:
I'm only a few clicks away if you have further concerns with Shopify and PayPal in QuickBooks. I'll be around to help you out again.
The connector you are using is not reliable. Consider to replace it with another one.
Yes, that is painfully obvious at this point unfortunately. What app do you recommend? I really don't want to pay for third party aps when this functionality is advertised and promised with the QuickBooks online subscription.

Jon
