Verification code to log in?

The TSheets app recently started asking for a verification code every time I log in. How can I turn this off? It is ridiculous to have to go to my email and get a code every time I log in.

Hello @R19S, thank you for reaching out to us here at The Community, my name is Sherissa and I am more than happy to assist you today.

Here is a link to turn off Multi-Factor Authentication, this should work since TSheets is apart of the QuickBooks and Intuit Family of Products.

If it does not work then it is apart of a known issue that our Support Team is tracking and working on.

If that is the case you will need to reach out to our Support Team and let them know about the issue you are having so they can tag your account with the known issue and can reach out to you when it is resolved!

I hope this helps and if you need anything else please feel free to reach back out to us at any time.

Hello @dupree31, if you see the section for "Set up Two-Step Verification" you will go through that process and instead of turning in "ON" you will turn it "OFF".

Let me know if you need anything else!

I created a new user name, as you suggested and have been using it to log in with, but to no avail. I am still presented with a verification code every log in.

Thanks for coming back with an update, @Ophus! I appreciate you trying that step and changing your username.

I have double-checked and as of now, there aren't any known issues with this login problem. If you've already tried clearing cache and cookies and trying a new browser after changing your username, I'd recommend reaching out to support.

Here's an article to walk you through your options: Contact QuickBooks Time Support.

I know it can be inconvenient to reach out to support but I'm confident they can look into this further and get the information they need to investigate further. As always, any questions you have, please feel free to reply to this post. We're all eager to help in any way we can!

I tried your suggestion now I have to get a code via email and text. There has to be a way to go back to the way it was.

I have been having the same, extremely frustrating problem.  Perhaps it is coincidental, but I recollect this starting when Intuit moved to a single sign on for TSheets and QuickBooks back in June.  Also, I always get asked for a verification code when logging into TSheets, but never for QuickBooks.

For the Tech Support help.  This is not about turning on or off two factor authentication under our Intuit IDs.  Everyone who is complaining about this issue most likely already has two factor turned off.  I also don't believe it's about Cookies.  I have set my browser to accept and keep Cookies from TSheets and QuickBooks.

EVERY TIME I login to TSheets, I get the following:

Once I enter the verification code, I get this:

The first option is my email address and I always chose that.  I have not idea what the second option is, but it does contain my email address and it was apparently last accessed right around the time of your login consolidation.

I really like everything about TSheets.  However, this issue is such a nuisance that I am considering changing to another time keeping system.

I too am having this exact same problem with having to retrieve a verification code from my email client whenever I log into TSheets, yet it is not required when logging into Quickbooks.  I also do not have two factor authentification turned on, and it also started at the same time as the integration of the two programs.
