Can print checks from the Self Employed program in Quickbooks? If so, how?

Thank you for reaching out to the Community, monadifiore-gmai.

The option to create/print check is not available in QuickBooks Self-Employed. You can only send invoice and track the transactions.

We have the QuickBooks Online plan that can let you create and print checks. If you wish to switch plans, just click here to know more about the different plans and pricing of QuickBooks Online. Just click the plan you want to subscribe to. You can use a trial first to know how it works. To create and print the check in QuickBooks Online, you can follow the easy steps below:

  1. Click the +New button from the left menu.
  2. Select Checks under the Vendors section.
  3. Enter a vendor name and the check details.
  4. At the bottom menu, click Print check.
  5. Enter a check number if necessary.
  6. Click Preview and Print or see the Print setup
  7. Select Print once done.

Can print checks from the Self Employed program in Quickbooks? If so, how?

Thank you for the response.  But, it's not clear to me which program covers check printing.  Which monthly subscription is needed to print checks?

Can print checks from the Self Employed program in Quickbooks? If so, how?

Hello, thank you for the follow up.  I spoke with one of the Sales reps through online chat and he said that the Simple Start plan does NOT allow you to print checks.  He said I'd have to go with at least the Essentials or one of the higher plans to have the ability to print.  Can you verify for me so that I do not have to go through any more of this trouble?  I've already spent way too much time AND money trying to answer this question.
