If you wish to import data from other accounting software, I recommend reaching out to them to verify if they can integrate it directly to QuickBooks Online.
Otherwise, you can look for another third-party app that can integrate both software.
Another option we have is to create a CSV file for the transactions, then import through banking. Once done, you can categorize them.
To start, get the transactions from your bank. Then, open and review the file from your bank and make sure it's in the correct format before you upload it. Then proceed to these following steps:
- In QuickBooks, go to the Banking menu.
- Choose the Banking tab.
- Click the blue tile for the account you want to upload the transactions into.
- Choose the Link account ▼ dropdown and then click Upload from file.
- Select Browse and then choose the file you downloaded from your bank and then click Next.
- In the QuickBooks account ▼ dropdown, choose the account you want to upload the transactions into then select Next.
- Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns on the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks. Then select Next.
- Select the transactions you would like to import. Then select Next.
- Select Yes and select Let's go.
