Plow and Sanding Tracking

Thank you for visiting the QuickBooks Community. I'll be sharing details about tracking entries to auto calculate at the end of the month. Then, ensure that you'll be able to perform an alternative way to achieve your goal.

Keep track of how many times you plow and sand each customer with the click of a button and have that transaction be auto-calculated at the end of the month for their invoice isn't currently available. However, there are dozens of reports in QBO that tell you about different aspects of your business. That said, you can run the Transactions List by Customer and customize it. This gives you a complete list of all transaction types you've done with the customer and you can see the auto-calculated amounts at the end of the month for their total invoice.

Here's how:

1. Go to the Reports menu on the left panel.
2. Choose Transactions List by Customer.
3. Select the Customize button.
4. Click the Change columns link.
5. Choose a specific option you want to view on the page like transaction type.
6. Click the Filter dropdown and choose Transaction Type and Customer boxes. Then, select the particular customer and type of entry.
7. Press the Run report button.
