I am trying to see what my previous Item pricing was before i changed it the other day. I lost what Items were changed and which ones were not yet. Can someone help me?
I'm here to help you with generating a report that lets you view the item's price history, @Kimbearly2002.
You can run an audit trail report to view the item's price history.
Here's how to run the report:

I'm always here if you need more help in getting the report that you need. Just let me know by leaving a reply below. Keep safe and have a wonderful day!
I followed your instructions and this is not helpful. I need just the prices of the items not how they are on invoices. I made changes and forgot which ones I changed and which ones i did not change. i don't need everything this else. It is only bringing up the invoices that the items are on.
Hello there, @Kimbearly2002.
Currently, QuickBooks will only let you view the item's price history through the audit trail report. You'll want to check the available reports for items.
Here's how:
1. Go to the Lists menu, and then choose Item List.
2. At the bottom, select the Reports drop-down arrow.
3. Choose Price List.
From there, you'll see the price of the items you've changed.
Moreover, here's an article you can read more about the different ways you can track customer transactions in QuickBooks: Get started with customer transaction workflows in QuickBooks Desktop.
Please let me know if you have any other follow-up questions about your items or transactions. I'm always here to help.
This did not show which ones were not changed. I need to know what the prices were in august and what they are now. I need to make sure that these prices were not raised twice. Does that help?
Thanks for getting back to this thread, @Kimbearly2002. Let me provide other steps to help you see the previous pricing of your item in QuickBooks.
We can generate a Quickreport for your items in your file. Let me show you how:
Otherwise, you can run the Sales By Item Detail report. To show the information you want, you can customize it. For more insights on how you can personalize your statements, please refer to this resource: Customize reports in QuickBooks Desktop.
Additionally, I've attached an article you can read to help you manage items in your account: Add, edit, and delete items.
I'll be around if you need more help running a report for your items in QuickBooks. Thanks for reaching out, and wishing you have to have a lovely day.
I am also looking for a way to create a report to show the history of changes to an item price. I do not want the report to reflect prices when an item is invoiced. I need to see when the actual item price was edited, and what the prices were previously. Everything that has been suggested does not create this type of report. Right now when we have a price change, we are creating duplicates of items, so we can see the price history. This is an inefficient way to change prices, and creates a tediously long item list. However, there is no way to see the price change history in QB if we use the change item prices under the Customers menu. Please advice.
Any luck on a report with previous year comparison item list?
Any update? I've been waiting for this feature for about 15 years now. Still no solution? Seems like willfully not adding a useful feature at this point.
This isn't the impression we want you to have, @Luckyme502. I'm here to share some updates about this feature in QuickBooks.
I can see how important this feature is for you and other business users. Our Product Developers are still considering adding this option and working nonstop to enhance the product for our customer's convenience.
While we don't have the exact time frame for when this will be implemented, I recommend sending again your feedback to our product developers.
Here's how:

Hi! Is there a price change history in QB ?
Hello! Do you have an update if a report has been created for price change history?
Thanks
Welcome to the Community, ktmwilson12. It is a pleasure to assist you with your query. Please allow me to provide you with some information regarding this matter.
We want QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) to be convenient to use for all of your tasks. Currently, QBDT does not support the report you want to run within your software to display the price change history. We recommend that you submit a feature request to our software engineers. Please be assured that our engineers will analyze the input received and will consider including this functionality in future product upgrades.

I wish I could add giant laughing emjois. QBs only solution for years and years to submit this as suggested software update or as feedback. Yeah, in all these years it has never been added. What is the point of answering every question about it with an "update" saying it's not available and we should suggest it. At some point isn't it embarrassing?
