Welcome to the Community, KerithP.

Let me step in and assist you on how to run report to show uncashed cheques.

You can use the Check Detail report and filter it to see uncleared checks. In that way, it will show you all the uncashed cheques. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Reports tab.
  2. In the search field, enter the Check Detail report.
  3. Filter the date range.
  4. Click the Customize button.
  5. Under the Filter dropdown, go to the Cleared section and filter it to Uncleared.
  6. Once done, hit Run report.

If you're sure that these checks are uncashed, make sure to make bank deposits and add memo. If you need further assistance with the recording process, please refer to an accountant.

You can also check this article to learn the other methods of running reports for the uncashed checks: Run a report of uncleared checks

I am also adding an article to help you filter and save your report in QBO: Memorize reports in QuickBooks Online.

Please feel free to leave a comment if you need further assistance in running your reports. Have a happy weekend!

Hi Daniel,

Thank you for responding! When I launch the Check Detail Report, it quickly flashes the filter options and then produces a report showing this month to date. I have tried three times and can't get it to allow me to enter fliters. Is there a fix for this?

Thanks for getting back to this thread, @KerithP.

I appreciate you following the steps provided by my colleague. Let's perform some troubleshooting steps to make sure that you can access your filter options when customizing reports.

To help you fix this, I suggest opening a different browser or a private window. You can utilize these keyboard shortcuts depending on the browser you're using.

  • For Microsoft Edge, press Ctrl + Shift + P.
  • For Safari, press Command + Shift + N.
  • For Firefox, press Ctrl + Shift + P.

If this works, QuickBooks Online will function more efficiently and effectively.

Also, you can refer to this article for additional fixes: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online.

If the steps provided above won't work, you can check other supported browsers as alternatives.

Feel free to get back to us if you require further assistance with customizing your reports. I'm here to help. Have a nice day.
