Let's perform some troubleshooting steps to get your VAT Liability report working, accounts471.
There are times when a browser's cache data becomes full of frequent access to web pages or damaged. This prevents you from running reports in QuickBooks Online (QBO). To better isolate this issue, try signing in to your QBO using a private or incognito window. This mode doesn't use the existing cache data and helps us confirm browser-related issues. Here's how:
Then, try running the VAT Liability report by following the steps in the Check how much sales tax you owe in QuickBooks Online article. If it works, go back to your regular browser and clear the cache to delete those temporarily stored files and browsing history. You can also use supported, up-to-date browsers to roll out the possibility of a browser-related issue.
If the same thing happens, I'd suggest contacting our Customer Support Team. They'll pull up your account in a secure environment and investigate what's causing this issue. Here's how:

It took less time to evacuate Chernobyl. Some useful updates would be helpful. We are seriously considering changing provider. In the meantime I will have to provide an estimate to revenue which isn't ideal.
Not sure if it helps but I cobbled something together for Revenue by exporting the Vat Detail reports and Excel.
Either way, you are right, shouldn't be taking this long with no updates at all.
