Question

App not available?

App will not open anymore. Splash screen says “App is not available in my region”. Insane. I’m located in the US. Did they disable the mobile app and call it something else? Need to track mileage. I had all my accounts connected. The app just will not open. My accountant can’t connect anymore. Tried to delete and reinstall. Still says “App not available “.

QuickBooks Self-Employed was removed from app stores on March 24, 2024, which is why you encountered a regional availability error. However, you can still redownload the application from your app store history rather than the library.

In iOS:

  1. Open App Store.
  2. Tap the My Account button or your photo at the top of the screen.
  3. Select Apps & Purchase History, then tap Your Apps.
  4. If you're part of a Family Sharing group, tap My Apps or choose a family member’s name to see content that they purchased.
  5. Select Not on this [device].
  6. Find QuickBooks Self-Employed, then tap the Redownload button.

In Android:

  1. Open Google Play.
  2. On the right, tap the Profile icon.
  3. Select Manage apps & device, then Manage.
  4. Choose QuickBooks Self-Employed.
  5. If you can't find it, select This device at the top, then Not installed.
  6. Tap Install or Enable.

Alternatively, you can access your account through a mobile browser.
