Change the Primary Principal in assisted payroll

The primary principal on our account retired, and we are trying to get it changed. I spoke with QB and they sent me the form to fill out.

I noticed its an enrollment form, I also am not sure where the current principal and the future principal should sign, it does not differentiate.

Hi there, bmccoy4672.

Thanks for contacting the Community for support. I'm happy to provide some info for changing the primary principal in your QuickBooks Desktop account.

After looking into this a bit further, the current principal's info will be entered for principal #1 and the future will be principal #2. Once you have the form completed you can upload it to the QuickBooks Desktop Payroll Assisted Document Portal.

The following article provides additional info about changing your primary principal, payroll admin, or other payroll contact.

Please feel free to drop a comment below if you have any other questions. I'll be here to lend a hand.
