Closing Desktop account

Ok.  Here it goes.

After 4.5 hours on the phone with QBs support, I got nowhere in closing an account that they are charging our former accountant over $1000 for.  The claim that because I am not the primary admin (she is dead btw), that they cannot close the account.  I cannot become the primary because the primary - the one that's dead - cannot give me permission.  I never met the woman!  I don't know who her estate manager is!  And they are not writing me a notarized letter anyway!!!

Now here is what I do know.  QBs let me move all the information in that same QBs account - the one with the dead primary account manager - to QBO.  They let me have total access to all the information.  No problem.  Because Intuit is an IMMORAL, MONEY GRUBBING company!!!!.  "Here is all that private info - no problem.  You want to close the old account that we gave you all the information from?  No!  We need a letter from the dead woman"  Now does that make sense?  Only if you don't care about security.  Only if you care only about making that extra $1000 a year!  It is the ONLY way it makes sense.

Whose credit card did they use to make the payment for the renewal? Yours, your former accountant's, or someone else's?
