Somehow the screen size in my QBO increased.  There is no problem with my other applications.

Hi there, @stcc-stchrisnlv-.

I see that you're experiencing an issue with the screen size in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account. Let's work together to resolve this.

If you're using Chrome, use the zoom options to make everything on a web page larger or smaller.

  1. At the top right, click the vertical ellipsis icon ().
  2. Next to Zoom, choose the zoom options you want:
    • Make everything larger: Click the plus (+) icon.
    • Make everything smaller: Click the minus (-) icon.

You can also use the keyboard shortcuts to zoom in or out:

  • Zoom in: Ctrl and +
  • Zoom out: Ctrl and -

To learn more about what to do if a section of the QBO page is cropped or if you're unable to view the entire page, take a look at this article: Unable to see the entire page in QuickBooks Online. It also contains details on the best settings to ensure all pages display properly.

For future use, you can check out this article about generating reports in QBO to get a thorough summary of your business's performance: Run reports in QuickBooks Online.

Please feel free to leave a reply below if you have any other questions about screen settings in QuickBooks. I'll be around to lend a hand. Stay safe.

Thanks, this helped somewhat so I was able to accomplish the tasks I needed to.  I could not get the screen size to go back to where it was before.

Im experiencing the same issue right now.  I touched something that made the QBO screen larger, and for the life of me, I have no idea how to put it back!  Anyone know?

Let's check a few areas to put your screen back to its default size, Keona.

Since the page is zoomed in, press Ctrl + 0 to reset it to normal size.

If it doesn't work, verify your computer's display settings. To display all pages properly, QuickBooks Online requires these settings:

  • Screen resolution set to 1024x768 or higher
  • Dots-per-inch (DPI) set to "Normal" or "100%"

Please check out this article, which contains details on the best settings to ensure all pages display properly: Unable to see the entire page.
