Has anyone else received a phone call from "Quickbooks" saying that you need to purchase a separate support package for $600 per year?!?!  I did a search online and this does not seem to be true unless you want some premium package.

You are completely correct. Intuit QuickBooks Online (QBO) will never call to sell you a separate support package, as this is not something we offer.

This is a common tactic used by scammers to gain access to your personal information. To prevent this from happening and to protect others from becoming victims, please report this incident by going to the Intuit Online Security Center and scrolling down to the Security section for step-by-step instructions.

Additionally, if you receive an unknown link from a suspicious email address, please do not click it. You can visit this article to learn how to identify official Intuit resources and spot fake ones: Identify suspicious activity and phishing scams.

You can always return here if you have additional questions.

Scammers typically use this trick on QB Desktop users. Now they appear to be trying it on Online users.
